Violinist seem to have this problem too on occasion. They leave a million dollar Stradivarius in the cab.

Holy crap! A guy in a neighborhood I deliver to with million plus houses just told me people charge them $500 to do two sweeps of their driveway. He bought a $5,000 4-wheel type thing and said it’s paid for itself.

Some people have more money than brains.

Snow equipment isn’t cheap and if you don’t have a contract you’re gonna get hit hard with pricing

Depends on the contract. My church had a deal for a guy to plow the parking lot and most of the time we ended up paying him for doing nothing. Now we only pay for the few times a year when he actually plows.

Not that I would deliver there but I wouldn’t expect much more than that either. That’s drivable. All depends on if there’s anywhere to turn around.

We usually got charged if they had to send a tow truck. Which is why you do everything you can to get yourself out first. Helps to know some customers.

Wasn't as much of a problem with the older trucks that didn't get stuck in an inch of snow.

I could bring back almost my whole route some days then. Some of my streets wouldn't see a plow for several days after it snows. At most a truck will have spread a little salt.

People always complaining about the subdivisions.

People have no understanding of just how many miles of road are in a town.


My town is only about 1 sq mile. It has 11 miles of road

I just saw a Muslim woman delivering Amazon out of her BMW. LOL. I wonder if she’s family of the route owner?
