What an idiot. We’ve never had an argument over her eating or not.
It’s super simple she gets a meal placed in front of her when we all eat and if she isn’t hungry then I we let her go play. She comes and eats when she’s hungry.

Americans place too much emphasis on eating. While I believe in family dinner time, why force a child to eat if they’re not hungry? That sets them up for bad habits in life. The fact that y’all don’t force Ava will probably help keep her thin her whole life.

I agree and parents stress finishing your plate way too often. It gets drilled into us at a really young age. YOU NEED TO FINISH EVERYTHING ON THAT PLATE!!!
Then we become adults and plates have 1500+ calories
