I won a trophy in a contest for beginners and rookies for landing closest to the target.

And how close was that?

 

[Operational needs]

The place I went to had a girl die on her first jump. I wasn't there when it happened. If you jump enough you will have malfunctions. You just need to be ready for them. Her bad luck it happened on her first jump. Double malfunction because her Sentinel (a device that automatically deploys your reserve if you fall below a certain altitude at high enough speed) also malfunctioned.

I had a minor malfunction once. My shrouds were twisted like a single braid. I was able to spin around to clear them but thought about tossing out my reserve. Since my main chute was open I had time to think about it. After I landed they said "Oh yeah, that happens sometimes ..."

Exactly why I feel no need to do anything out of the norm that could result in death. Lol.

I would only jump out of a plane if it was on fire.

Yes real. Georgia and Alabama have both had over 1000 lbs wild boars killed there I think.

Yes it is. Basically said it would yield 500-600 lbs of sausage.
