Actually a few years back it got cold enough a lot of ppl and golf courses lost their grass

A lot of courses overseed with rye in the fall to keep some green after a frost.

No. Zoysia is a nice grass to walk on. Almost doesn’t grow. Like you could let it go all summer and it might get 5-6 inches.

Sounds like Texas grass. They should be embarrassed to call it grass--Its more like weed stubble.
