My daughter’s high school started a new program this year to teach trades to students.
Our kids can go to a vo-tech high school. Most of the regular trades are taught. If you study electrical or plumbing, you enter as a second year apprentice after graduation, so a 18 year old is probably making $25/hour to start. $50-60/hour a few years later.

And not owing thousands of dollars in school loans.

You want a toe? I can get you a toe.
When my daughter was in elementary school they had one every 9 weeks, always in the mornings, like people don’t work. I felt bad for my child when I couldn't make.
Agree with her on perfect attendance too. Big whoop you attended school sick and likely exposed hundreds.

Was talking to a high schooler a few weeks back. To be exempt from finals you must have an A and only miss so many days. I said who cares how many days you missed? Getting an A and missing a ton of days is more impressive honestly.

Really, these awards are for the teachers so they can feel better about themselves. Pretty messed up and reflective of GenSnow that cannot cope with adversity.

And no massive loan debt.
