One problem with cats is you can't predict what the personality will be like. Some will follow you around like a puppy but others can be bat crazy.

I always like the bat crazy ones. A young niece of mine came running into the house one day screaming that my cat had scratched her---FOR NO REASON. With that cat I kind of doubted it but ----it was possible. He lived until 18. He left me hunting trophies every day (mice and moles -very few birds) always with their heads chewed off
