That used to be a pain in the ass for cover drivers trying to figure out what area you were in

It could be 6 or 8 different areas all with a different number you had to write on the delivery record

When you have a split route with stops from multiple loops the area numbers become mostly useless.

When we stopped using paper most new drivers didn't have a clue about where the different areas were anyway.
