I was planning on taking my daughter for her birthday next year. Prepared to spend at least a grand in each ticket. But building an 8000 seat monstrosity next to the original field kind of ruins the appeal for me

I’m saying what I would have done. But there will still be loads of corn around the stadium. The baseball field is in the middle of probably 500 acres of corn.

In my opinion they aren’t spending a year building a temporary stadium. They’ll try to have a few games there every year. And it would ruin the experience for anyone going forward who wants to visit the field
