We have 2 or 3 BIG sod farms in the area. Its kind of funny - one day you drive by and it looks like a big flat manicured lawn and the next day all that grass is gone.

Our sod always came in rolls. This is how I see it at Home Depot though

Most of it does come in rolls if its for residential use. Sometimes they cut it in what looks like big rolls of hay if its for commercial use to do a large area.

We got it delivered from a river farm 30 miles away. First couple weeks it’s very important to keep it watered.

The fescue sod is funny. They have to net it underneath.
