If you stay in Temecula you would be pretty much same distance to Disneyland and the zoo but you could also hit Safari Park which is pretty close to Temecula. If you have kids there is Legoland also.

We have one of these fake pine trees (about 200 feet tall) a few miles west of here but ours has branches going almost to the ground. Strangest looking thing you've ever seen. It's out in the middle of a field by itself so it stands out like a sore thumb. I think its UGLY.
