No junky cars on the road

Virginia also has emissions inspections every two years unless the car was made before a certain year.

No emissions testing here to get your currant tabs. Also if your vehicle is over 25 years old you can get "collator plates" for it for $35. The plates are good for life. Needless to say there area lot of "collector" cars on the road---most of them rust buckets. I had a 1972 Ford Bronco I ran collector plates on for years. The last 10 years of its life all it collected was more rust.

It really makes me nervous how unsafe some cars are here. There’s a lot to be said for vehicle inspections.
