I'm not sure if I hunkered, but this was like a popcorn fart. We didn't get any rain, very little wind. Only thing I saw was a rise in water of about 1' above normal when I went fishing near Galveston Tuesday.

Did you kill the nerves in your hand with that injury? Will you be able to bend and use that finger?

Nerves still work. Stiff as hell now but the plastic surgeon said I'll be alright if I get it bending before too much scar tissue forms inside. Have physical therapy sessions but will still have to do things on my own to help it. Time to bite down on a rag and bend some fingers!
