First 6 months sucked the life out of me, finally had enough and left. I’m a station Ops manager for Bezos now. One of the best decisions I’ve ever made. They introduced me to something called “Work/Life Balance” where you actually do stuff that isn’t work. Wild stuff.

It’s been a rough year.

Honestly I heard so many horror stories but they’re pretty fair. Very happy with the decision.

UPS was just insanity before I left. I was working 6 and 7 day weeks. I think at the end of April I averaged 3 hours of sleep a night over a two week period. Delivered every Saturday in May. Then they tried to get me to work a preload Memorial Day Monday when I was working that afternoon. They just don’t know when to stop. That’s when I decided enough was enough

One day at a time. I’m glad you’re much happier working for Bezos. You sure picked a perfect time to quit UPS.
