I spent the better part of the day "trying" to replace a toilet. Went to every place in town and apparently a white, tall, round, lined (insulated) toilet is a rare thing. Home Depot -nothing------Menards -back ordered don't know when to expect the next shipment. I finally located one 130 round trip miles away and can pick it up Friday. If I would have known they were an endangered species I wouldn't have removed the old one first thing this morning. My wife said "just order one off the internet" . I wonder how many pieces that would have been in by the time it got to me.

Our well water remains so cold year around that in the summer when its hot and humid for that one or two weeks the toilet tank will sweat. The insulated ones have about a half inch of heavy foam insulation lining the inside of the tank that prevents this.
