Not when it comes to cuisine. It’s completely different. Mexican food is good but Cuban food is amazing. I never had oxtail or ham hocks before. But my ex’s mother could make them so good you’d want seconds.

Everything is crazy-priced here because so many people have money. The Mexican restaurant we decided not to eat at had a “flight” of four tacos for $28. Next county over would’ve probably been half that.
