Here's one thing you're forgetting when it comes to real estate. If you're smart and buy low and then eventually sell at a very healthy profit, it's worth all the "headaches " of owning verse renting.

You will lose money in the long run on renting every time.

Not for me. Just need a place to live. Not looking to make money off of it. The less involved the better.

People always say rent is throwing money away. Well so is intrest and property taxes.

Renting or owning both have their pluses and minuses. I guess its just personal preference. I'm on the owning side but that is just me!

Generally speaking, if you are in a secure job and will be living in the same area for at least 5 years, it is better to own then rent.
