COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX/WTTE) — Amazon announced its Prime Now service will now offer superfast delivery of beer and wine in the Columbus area starting Wednesday.

Amazon said the delivery fees would be the same as other items. The prices are $7.99 for one-hour delivery and free for two-hour delivery if you are already an Amazon Prime member.

We did this years ago using a taxicab to pick up and deliver alcohol our underage butts. Back then all you had to do was tell the cab driver your Dad was in the shower. Cab driver didn't give a crap as long as you gave him a tip so he could buy more weed..

In a smaller town there was always the risk somebodies parents would spot you. My wifes parents always bought beer for their underage kids--if they would drink it at home. The kids always managed to sneak a few out for a later date.
