Unlikely he was carrying around all 1000 rounds on him at the same time. Reload a few magazines every time you head to the shooting range.

I could burn thru 1000 rounds in my ol Daisy knocking down cans all day. Lol

824 of those were 22 cartridges. I rarely shoot and I have that many 22 cartridges. When they come in boxes of 500 plus and are dirt cheap why not.

I buy .22's in bricks when I can but for a while was hard to get more than a couple of boxes at a time.

I don't have 1000 rounds of any 1 caliber now but do have hundreds of rounds of several different calibers. Far cheaper to buy in bulk.

We plunk turtles with 22's. In 4-5 years Ava will take over the 22. I should start stocking up now

I go through periods when I will shoot a lot of .22's. Cheap and fun and I don't have to mess with reloading.
