My poor sister and her husband left Richmond, VA this morning at 8:00 to drive here because their flight was canceled. They haven’t even made it to Florida yet.

Right now I am stranded at the Minneapolis Airport because our flight from here to home (125 miles) was cancelled . Spending the night in the airport and taking a shuttle at 5:30 am tues morning because our next guaranteed flight isn’t until 10:30 pm Weds. DELTA SUCKS

What should have been a 12 1/2 hour drive turned into an 18 1/2 hour drive for them. I-95 really needs to be widened. Way too much traffic on the East Coast now.

One way rental is too damn expensive. After taxes and all the extra add on garbage they want over $350 for a 125 mile rental. The shuttle is $130.

Nah, I kid. Mine aren't even insulated. You can still get killed with insulated tools. It's more about personal precautions and knowing what you're doing. Neither of which apply to that guy.

I am a frugal bazillionaire. If I would have spent $350+ on a one way rental I still would have had to take a taxi from our little airport home and that would have been another $40+ dollars. A shuttle from the Mpls airport to my front door ( yes he dropped us off at our front door) only cost $130 plus a 20 dollar tip. Mama didn't raise no fool.
