-passed nafta
-deregulated the media so now 6 corporations control 90% of all news
-dregulated the banks which led to financial crisis
-destroyed welfare for single mothers
-prison pop increased at fastest rate under him

-obama tried passing tpp which is worse than nafta
-did not pass healthcare for all
-foreclosed on tons of americans
-bailed out the banks
-did not arrest any wall streeter

Sadly I tend to agree with you. There is just TOO much money to be made by the medical and pharmaceutical industries to find permanent cures for these terrible diseases.

Insurance companies may disagree.

Also, you fail to see profit potential cancer cure brings. Eliminating the number two cause of death dramatically increases lifespan and with it the demand for all sorts of medications.
