You are being underpaid.
You're not a "helper".

You should be getting $18.75/hr.
How do I go about making sure I’m being properly compensated without coming off as a total B to them? I don’t wanna be like “Some guy on the internet said I’m not being paid enough” ya know? But I’m not down to get ripped off either. Lol

He means the company is using you as a driver and the union is allowing them to pay you less. It's union buisness so don't worry about it.

Are union dues being taken out of your checks?

if you're driving a golf cart, you're an on-area helper and not entitled to the $18.75 these guys are talking about

you probably SHOULD be, but you're not

Drive safe and look twice...always! Slow down.

Did they give you that nice jacket when you got hired as a driver helper?

Packages do not really matter, stops do. If your boss is happy, don't worry about it. You should expect to get better and do more in the same amount of time in a week.

We have some resi areas that go off at 20-25 stops per hour. The rural route that I worked today, I average 15 stops per hour.

The *person* who is over the cart drivers here, told me we needed to do 20 stops per hour in the cart. That means you are allowed 3 minutes per stop. She said she did 100 stops on the cart in 6 hrs. That would be 3.6 minutes per stop. I call BS. Maybe in the big brown car.
