Lac-Megantic. The railroads have been pushing for 1 man crews saying that technology is good enough now to do away with the conductor. There's plenty of evidence that reducing crew size would be a safety disaster but during the Trump administration there was major support for it and rolling back safety regulations in general over all industries. The Class 1 railroads need to be reigned-in and watched over more closely, as they continue to demonstrate that they are not very safe.
