2 years ago my mother spent 2 months in an ICU bed dying a slow death from COPD induced pneumonia on a ventilator with chest tubes on both sides to drain the fluid from her lungs. It was the longest she went without a cigarette in over 50 years. I’m sorry she’s gone but she was responsible for her own bad decisions.

True but I meant in the world as a whole. I once had a ex who hydroplaned off the road and hit a tree during a thunderstorm. I had told her for months that she needed new tires....but the accident “totally wasn’t her fault!”
