Only about 50 billion dollarsWhat would it cost UPS employees to buy back the company and take it off the public market? The worst thing that ever happened to this company. Too many Cooks spoil the stew.
Don't care anymore. What would it cost UPS employees to buy back the company and take it off the public market? The worst thing that ever happened to this company. Too many Cooks spoil the stew.
At least UPS has some hard assets.about 1/5 the value of Facebook....about the 1/4 value of YouTube .....about 1/100 the value of Apple.....hell many new tech companies are going public and approaching the value of ups , a company who has been around for 110 years slowly building their business....it's a new world now and businesses like ups are dinosaurs and they want to keep it that way....that's too bad.
Not in feeder it's not...all about safety and service to our internal customers( remember that little gem of a word from the 80's and early 90's)....many of these folks get way too involved in work...upsers in general are notorious for this....I see it all the time bringing trailers to other buildings....talking about the smallest little things being these huge titanic issues... It probably comes from management and their inept ways of dealing with employees that is sooo outdated....It's all about dividends not service.
Collect paycheck and go home. Don't care anymore
I don't own any UPS stock anymoreDon't care anymore.
However years ago I did do the math, for sh and giggles....each employee would need to buy something like hundreds of thousands of dollars worth.
What a few trucks and about a 100 billion forever bags....lol. We're in the technology world now and people care about their Cool devices and social media ... WhateverAt least UPS has some hard assets.
Those other companies own very few.

All of the property that they own alsoWhat a few trucks and about a 100 billion forever bags....lol. We're in the technology world now and people care about their Cool devices and social media ... Whatever
And Wall Street is totally fine with that!!! Which is its own problem right there!!At least UPS has some hard assets.
Those other companies own very few.
Are you talking about the employees that actually know how to do the job or should we just trust Orion?Oy vey, let's not let the inmates own and run the insane asylum.
And when times get bad those companies just disappear. Not too many tech companies survived 9/11And Wall Street is totally fine with that!!! Which is its own problem right there!!
They own some of the property not all of it...they should just sell off everything and go into the development business...probably make more money with a hell of less peopleAll of the property that they own also
This company could make so much more money but they look at things the wrong way. They own some of the property not all of it...they should just sell off everything and go into the development business...probably make more money with a hell of less people
As soon as we vote in this two tiered wage scale I'm going to double my buy in.I don't own any UPS stock anymore
We paid something like 10k to rent a gravel parking lot through peak last year. A lot that has sat empty for at least 5 years. They own some of the property not all of it...they should just sell off everything and go into the development business...probably make more money with a hell of less people
