$36.19 an hour is $46.33 in 10 years at 2.5% inflation.$1 per yearJust extend this contract 10 more years. 75 cents a year raise. I can dig it.
i predict it will make no sense for anyone involved
Sounds like the "smart ones" aren't too smart !!!
Damn... hef is firedAs much sense as...... screwing the UPS aircraft mechanics for years
and.......................... screwing the UPS pilots union by mismanaging and renting 3rd party cargo jets
and.......................... forcing Saturdays on package drivers and raising the HOS to 70 hours during peak (TO COVER MISMANAGEMENT)
and.......................... pre-ordering Tesla tractors when the costs and maintenance costs are astronomical
and.......................... using Trump's tax handout on themselves and coming to the bargaining table empty handed
Sounds like the "smart ones" aren't too smart !!!
Mgt is getting 10% pay raises and we are setting for 1.2%.... with new pters making 9.50 an hour with no benefits for a year..... and people want to know why corporations have such a bad stigma attached to them...I don't know about smart, but they are well compensated for (in my opinion) ruining this company...
UPS Inc. increased the total compensation package for its Chief Executive Officer, David Abney, by 21 percent in 2016, according to the company’s latest filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
Overall, Abney’s compensation for the year grew to $13.7 million, including a 10 percent base salary bump to $1.1 million and stock option awards of $10.2 million.
The increase comes after UPS upped Abney’s pay by 35 percent in 2015 and nearly 105 percent in 2014.

You should be hoping that progression is reduced. But most FT Union members would not vote for it because "does not affect me".As a part-timer hoping to go driving this year, I'm really hoping they don't extend the progression.
That would be great, but I don't see it happening. You should be hoping that progression is reduced. But most FT Union members would not vote for it because "does not affect me".
I agree because too many members only vote for what is good for themselves. That would be great, but I don't see it happening.
That’s why many here are quick to strike over just 1 or 2 minor issues. They don’t care that some might be out of a job.I agree because too many members only vote for what is good for themselves.
