We remove all clerk work, HV's and hazmats before we park the truck. Pull in building stop truck, remove above items, get back in truck and park in spot

We have to pull to the air dock, unload air, then proceed to clerk station to pull HV's, hazmats and w/c's...

but yes, as soon as you get inside, the check audit happens before all of it

The other building I worked at had a separate building to drop air, this building you drop air on the belt when you park

Fill out the service crosses properly.

If the primary clerk is on vacation then the backup better know how to do the job properly. That means scan all the packages in the exceptions area to see how the driver sheeted it. Service crosses are for the drivers to know how many times a package has been attempted. Clerks shouldn't be looking for a service cross. Case in point, there was a driver who got busted for writing a service cross on a misroute package he didn't service. He was gonna try to leave it in the exceptions area.
