Rod was his own loader for probably the first 6 or 7 years I was a driver. Pre-load hadn't been invented then. Hell back then we didn't even have a Center Manager 3 days out of the week. We had a Lead Driver who got 10 cents more an hour to be in charge.

No - never was. I was just a rookie back then. For the most part there wasn't even anyone to brown nose with. Our center manager had 2 centers in 2 different cities and he lived in the other one so we NEVER saw him on Mondays or Fridays and lots of times he would only show for the sort one day a week.
