You sound like a good mom. Ups is a great company to work at. Listen to what @Oh Shoot and try and get in contact with a supervisor if your daughter has their number. There’s a very good chance they will be useless, but it’s better than nothing.

Keep bugging them until you get a solid answer. Squeaky wheel gets the oil

My daughter worked as a package handler as a seasonal worker in 2023. She absolutely loved it and worked hard. Even cleaned in her down time. They all seemed to love her and gave her hope that she could be hired full time. The job ended and she's checked the job openings daily.
This past xmas they hired her again as a seasonal employer delivering packages. She worked her ass off, even worked longer hours taking a 2nd shifts, She just applied today for an opening and was told she's ineligible for rehire!! She called me sobbing. She is so frustrated. She would make ANYBODY an excellent employee. What can she do?
My daughter had the same thing happen to her. She worked summer ‘24 on night sort and was told to reapply for peak when she was on winter break from college and they would throw her back where she was. Went online to apply and was not applicable. One night when I was in I stoped and talked with the night hub manager about it and he even confirmed with her direct supervisor that they wanted her back. They had to reach out to HR and have the problem fixed. Apparently it was an accident and she is welcome back anytime though she ended up missing the rehire deadline for peak. So she went to FedEx which happens to be next door and got a job instantly there. It seems to work better for college kids as well. Though she may come back to UPS in the summer and work both so she can get a heads up on her college loans.

So, have her reach out to her manager at the time and see if they can rectify the issue.

Do you need an air compressor or tire gauge
