Because the bloat won’t end. And contrary to popular opinion around here, but what if bloat is sometimes necessary?

in some functions it probably is. some things in government you cant run like a lean business. At the same time we've never had an accounting of government spending like we're starting to go through now. I struggling to understand why all taxpayers would not be for that. Instead your side is attacking the auditor who has all the necessary approvals and background checks. you would think both sides of the political spectrum would be rooting him on.

tariff system to pay the revenue instead of taxes. I've been a fan of the concept of taxes being user taxes in the past only not researched the tariff concept but past presidents have paid off significant taxes using tariffs.

40% tariffs like we had for nearly 130 years, no income taxes, property taxes i'm okay with but a land value tax would be better
