My route was cut today so I covered a gravy route from old timer. Only had 70 stops! Usually it gets 100-120. Finished at 1 took lunch till 430 then did pickups and punched out 530

You really took a 3 and a half hour lunch? that - I'd make em pay me for my time. I had only 75 stops on a route with usually 200 and I told the pickups I was coming early today.

I did them a little early. The boss knew I was very light. Basically a free day

Maybe their trying to get the upper drivers mad enough to retire.

Newer drivers cost less.

If they stop some of the perks for them, that might be enough to push a few out the door.
