I’m not a fan of AI to begin with. But to say that the Chinese can replicate these things cheaply makes me laugh. It’s like ordering cheap Chinese knock off items such as electronics. Sure they might look close to similar, but once you start using them, you realize what piece of crap they are.

Your most likely correct. But it possibly exposes the $ game spent on this tech. I could be way off but going macro…. If this company is pushing your SP500 401k gains with other tech stocks and all you have is AI talk you might be in $ trouble?

Again, I will agree with you that all this AI stuff is way overblown and inflated. But. NVDA is a good company with good products. That has value. Maybe not what their value is now but definitely better than Chinese knock off crap. I believe AI will be exposed for what it is.
there’s really no such thing as artificial intelligence. There’s a programmer behind it somewhere and they influence the “intelligence”. Personally, I find it very dangerous. moves us one step closer to living in the movie Idiocracy.
Seems Wall Street is pretty.impressed with the quality of the Chinese AI. And it's open source so if it's capable and free it would be tough for our companies to compete. My question is if TikTok is capable of gathering useful information for the Chinese government then wouldn't their AI be like a giant Trojan horse?
