Now try to do something about the debt and watch who screams the loudest. It does almost seem all made up at this point in a way lol, the debt is just exorbitant and they just keep raising the ceiling

No worry but……….Its going to take you approximately a decade to get back to your original position of March last week. Good thing is you will make it all back…….BUT its gonna cost you a decade of your youth/time. They wiped out a big chunk of the overtime you’ve worked. This is why the big wigs Bezos, Buffet, Zucky, Dimon sold their stock or interests. Damn….Ah, indeed. Nothing to worry about.

Massie needs to get with the program.Thomas massie tried to do something about the debt and now Trump is screaming for him to be removed
What exactly is the program? $4 trillion increase to the debt limit for what reason?Massie needs to get with the program.
Maybe, or perhaps he’s right because he’s been right more than Trump has on this spending issue. He was 100% right on the PPP loans. it was a giveaway and should’ve never been passed. Massey is a true fiscal conservative and does not agree with spending money willy-nilly. Trump tried to primary him last time and it didn’t work. Sometimes you don’t want a yes man around you you want a guy who will question things. Massie is not the enemy.Massie needs to get with the program.
Massie is a man standing up for children being saddled up with $ debt load. I was surprised. Takes guts in the face of bullies.Massie needs to get with the program.
My understanding is they don't want the Dems to hold them hostage with continuing resolutions so they set the debt ceiling that much higher. What exactly is the program? $4 trillion increase to the debt limit for what reason?
Working within the system instead of grandstanding might yield better results.Massie is a man standing up for children being saddled up with $ debt load. I was surprised. Takes guts in the face of bullies.
I spent a lot of years in a truck, listening to podcasts and talk radio of all kinds. One particular talk radio host that I’m sure you listen to as well for many years always said a government shut down was not that big of a deal and I agree with him. What’s the big rush?My understanding is they don't want the Dems to hold them hostage with continuing resolutions so they set the debt ceiling that much higher.
I think the one thing you can be sure of is Massie is not grandstanding. Certainly your choice to disagree with him, but I can guarantee you. He has a reason that’s valid.Working within the system instead of grandstanding might yield better results.
They've got less than two years to the midterms. Trump and company are trying things never really attempted before. It could blow up in their faces but if they can't get it accomplished before the midterms then they may not get the chance the rest of his term if they lose the House.I spent a lot of years in a truck, listening to podcasts and talk radio of all kinds. Naw thats weak. Man upWorking within the system instead of grandstanding might yield better results.
Again, I don’t like the car salesman tactics here. “Gotta do it now don’t think just do” We constantly lambaste Democrats for walking in lockstep. We shouldn’t become what we don’t agree with to get what we want. There’s plenty of time and if you truly believe the Republicans are doing the right thing, the midterms shouldn’t be a worry. They've got less than two years to the midterms. Working within the system is fine because they have discussion and disagreement on the floor but when it comes time to vote, you have to vote with your conscience or you’re not l being truthful to yourself and your constituentsNaw thats weak. Man up
Not saying he's a bad guy. But if we're going to get from A to B then everyone needs to be on the same page. Our margin in the House is too narrow.Again, I don’t like the car salesman tactics here. “Gotta do it now don’t think just do” We constantly lambaste Democrats for walking in lockstep. Representative Thomas Massie posted on X: "Someone thinks they can control my voting card by threatening my re-election. Guess what? Doesn't work on me. Three times I've had a challenger who tried to be more MAGA than me. None busted 25 percent because my constituents prefer transparency and principles over blind allegiance."
Utah Senator Mike Lee posted on X: "I have nothing but profound respect for Massie, who has worked harder than perhaps any member of Congress to bring federal spending under control. He might vote differently on this matter than most, but if he does so, he'll have a really good reason. I'm a huge fan."
Nick Sortor, right-wing journalist, wrote: "Even as one of President Trump's most loyal supporters, I disagree with this. Massie was the ONLY member of Congress who stood up to the COVID boondoggle when the world went freaking mad. The chamber booed and jeered. But Massie was right."
You have the full weight of the media against Trump. Don't need a blue wave to win the House, just win some purple districts. If we do go into recession that's very possible. People have short memories. And then we'll have a stalled agenda and likely some impeachment nonsense to boot.Again, I don’t like the car salesman tactics here. “Gotta do it now don’t think just do” We constantly lambaste Democrats for walking in lockstep. I understand your concern but this is how our government works and is working properly. I don’t believe Massie should cast aside his convictions to be a party loyalist. Makes him no better than every other politician we scream about. And clearly his constituents that he has beholden to agree with him by thier record of voting for him.Not saying he's a bad guy.
