You can't seem to make this connection. The Boers(now Afrikaners) landed in what is now the Capetown area in 1652. They eventually moved into what was an essentially empty land except for some small groups of Bushmen. Eventually black Africans started moving south into what is now South Africa and ran up against the Boers. They fought a series of wars with the Boers eventually coming out on top. Then throw the British and British settlers into the mix. The British Army fought their own wars with the Zulu and then two wars with the Boers. The British dominated the cities while the Boers were primarily farmers(Boer is the Dutch word for farmer). The British Empire started falling apart after two world wars and South Africa was given its independence. The Afrikaners, the larger of the two white groups, took power through the vote. Blacks were shut out and then truly.shut out with the implementation of apartheid.

Fast forward to 1994. Giving in to international pressure the blacks were given the vote. With far superior numbers they took over power. Nelson Mandela became president. He believed in reconciliation if the country was to survive. For a time the country did well but after his passing the new leadership sought retribution for past sins. National leaders have called for the killing of whites and their congress passed a law allowing confiscation of white land without compensation.

Keep in mind the former Rhodesia, now Zimbabwe, went down this path. Resulted in hyperinflation and complete destruction of their economy. That's the path South Africa is on.

Millions of white South Africans are only.guilty of being born there. No different then Germans or Japanese born after WWII. This idea that they should stay their and face abuse for a system put in before most were born, especially in the last 31 years, is ludicrous. Would be no different than slaves in the U.S., once freed, went on killing sprees and grabbed farms for themselves. Didn't happen because they were outnumbered, but it's the same principle.
