I hope the Republicans will investigate what happened after they take the House in November. Whether that comes before or after a well-deserved impeachment or two of Biden doesn't really matter to me.

Who would investigate the investigators? Congress can hold hearings to inform legislation, but who would hold the FBI accountable? No one. It's time we all admit to ourselves, there is no rule of law in this country.

No idea what the consequences could be for the FBI. Perhaps @zubenelgenubi is correct there. But establishing the facts of what happened for everyone to see is probably important even if punishment doesn't follow.
