The DOJ is asking for the judges order to not investigate be withdrawn. They are asking for the investigation to not be put on hold. not for the Special Master to be removed.
You, I'm sure, realize that the FBI already checked to make sure no priveledged papers were collected. If Donnie could hire a competent attorney the would have asked for a Special Master immediately.
I guess owning a judge is better. He learned a few things from his dad.
