Things you don't agree with rarely do for you. And that's fine. :)
I didn't disagree, I asked you a question and you responded with an irrelevant tweet.

Buddy I'm going to help you out here with big bold letters, then try again to answer my question:
I’m just asking to be educated on Top Secret documents former Presidents have waved their hands over and then carried off to their private residences post-presidency.
Why are you under the impression anything was taken there after his presidency ended?
Try again.

you didnt answer the question . again. You keep trying this I'm trying to understand line of argument as if you're seeing and hearing all this for the first time.

the president has the ultimate classification /declassification authority. So again for the zillionth time if trump wants to wave his hand as president and say all these documents are declassified then who has a higher authority than the president that can say no you cant?

your next argument may be that he has to follow a process. the question again who manages the process that has a higher authority than the president that can say Mr. President you didnt follow the process so therefore its not declassified.
In other words as the highest authority the process is whatever the president says it is.

I see what you're saying now. Was poorly worded on my part. I do not in fact believe that Trump carried off Top Secret documents from the White House after he was President. Would have been tough for him to get back inside at that point. Thanks!

I'll try filing a FOIA request for the apparently declassified Top Secret documents tomorrow. :)

what would be interesting to me would to see how much of what Trump had in his possession were related to the various witch hunts. The evidence he feels in his favor that he felt the biden administration might try to make dissapear. I don't for a minute believe he took anything nuc related. the problem to your point about a foia is the government will bury it under the cloak of secrecy unless trump gets back in and declassifies all the details as to what he had.

Dems and their lapdog media keep trying to focus attention of Trump to deflect attention away from their own failures. Funny how their lead stories every day are about Trump. Not Biden or other Dems.
Maybe it's because donald is always running his yap and pandering to violent white supremacists . kind of hard for the media to ignore. Don't worry he's got truth social to get his deep thoughts out there. btw, how's that working out for him?

Ouch!!! Trump got the Smack Down put on him in the 11th Circuit of Appeals( exactly as Judge Nap Said he Would)

a three panel of judges ( two appointed by Trump ,one by Obama) ruled unanimously the DOJ could continue it;s investigation of Trump to find of Trump had commited Federal Crimes.
The DOJ had told Judge Cannon that they had looked at the documents already and told her these documents contained National Security Information. Judge Cannon told the DOJ she had no reason to believe that and that she would only believea Special Master,. The Court of Appeals was very harsh on this ruling saying there is o basis to believe these are anything BUT National Defense Documents.

Because Trump's lawyers have again and again refused to testify under oath that Trump Declassified these documents when he was President as asked to by the Special Master the Appeals Court ruled this tells them that the Doj is correct: The Documents are either Classified,National Security Secrets or all Three.

The court Ruled the Former President has NO possessory interest in these documents whether or not they are classified, whether or not they contaion Nayonal Secrets they are the property of the US Government, NOT Trumps.

BIG win for the DOJ and a HUGE setback for Trump

That's just part of their 4D chess defense strategy.

the trump lawyers are not going to present their entire possible defense case and call witnesses for a document review.
