I was using a joke to try to make a point. As racially and ethnically diverse as Florida is it how could CRT have the destructive impact some including VT believe it could have? The 2020 census clearly points to the fact and it's undeniable that CRT or no CRT white Caucasian America will be the minority race in a couple of decades.
If the result is an increase in racial tensions I doubt that CRT will be the cause.....Over population is likely to be more of a driver than the teaching of CRT.

Many of the same people had blacks convinced not long ago that whites, especially white cops, were systematically hunting and killing black men. I heard that myself from several blacks I worked with. Tell me how we're supposed to have a cohesive, united society when this kind of hate is spread by those with an agenda? It's especially egregious that the Democratic Party has promoted these ideas to scare people into voting for them.

I've moved into communities here in the States that were 90-97% Hispanic. I've lived overseas in places where I was clearly a minority. I don't give a rat's behind about their race. I will not live in any neighborhood that's eaten up with drugs and violence which keeps me clearly away from big city America because the safest neighborhoods there are beyond my reach economically. But where I've lived overseas I always felt as safe or safer than most of the U.S. You on the other hand have characterized those places as dangerous holes among other things without ever having set foot in them. What planet are you from? 70 years ago blacks were referred to as Coloreds, or worse. Feel free to call them African-American if you like but I've known plenty of blacks who call themselves black. And don't give me the old "white guy claims he has black friends" routine. I grew up in the South, played basketball on black courts, worked with a lot of blacks, and one of my two best friends in the world, who I went to church with and who died at 57 from cancer, was black. That you would bring it up says a lot more about you. We're white, they're black, get over it.

Show me the state and/or national standards of the curriculum you posted. Show me the scope and sequence. Apparently you aren't familiar with the Critical Race Theory teaching that was proliferating around the country. It's what got Glenn Youngkin elected governor in Virginia and the National School Board Association requesting that Merrick Garland classify parents who protested it at school board meetings as domestic terrorists. CRT is saying that whites are inherently racist and minorities are all victims of white racism. Among other things.
