I'm not a Doctor or pretend to play one on the B.C , but after yrs & yrs of the pounding on the feet,your arches could collaspe thus causing knee pain !! I would suggest staring with inserts ASAP to avoid future problems!

My boss would tell me to replace it with a polishable leather boot, tall enough to provide ankle support--or find another job. Which means, have feet that are killing you all day and way too hot in summer. Who cares as long as you comply with the desk-jockey rules.

I got the extra padded cushion inserts but they feel like they will break down fast. A friend says he uses the same and replaces them every week. I was thinking of making the harder (more solid) gel inserts. I read the package in the store and it sounded like they replace the OEM shoe sole. The one read "remove sole then insert the pad." I was under the impress the gel ones went on top of the existing sole but i guess they can't because of the thickness. I guess its a trial and error thing.
