You were fired for walking on a belt. The ethics hotline folks are gonna laugh at you if somebody eventually picks up.

This new management at fedex has fired atleast 40 ppl in 3 months

One manager said I could reapply I'm 30 days . Not sure how true that is . And another manager told me talk to his Connect at ups. Not knowing I already work here

Yeah I worked both companies, since I didn't make it as a driver at ups. I seen supervisors walking on the belt at ups. So I thought maybe at fedex it won't be that big of a deal. Maybe a warning. Not straight termination.

You don’t. You count your lucky stars instead. Trust me. Getting fired from them is the best thing that could have happened to you or any of their employees

Ethics of termination without warning or write ups

Not certain. But I think they can absolutely fire you for a severe infraction. Walking on a moving belt would qualify. Whatever you were or weren’t thinking, good luck in your future job.

There were many many days our building was so stacked up with packages the only way 3/4 of the drivers could get to their trucks was to ride the belt down. NOTHING was ever said about it.
