And you leader couldn't win his own local. End of story slappy.

And your leader couldn't win ANY Local! After being found ineligible to run for GP in 1991, he was hired as an administrative assistant to Larry B. of Detroit in 1993. He then became eligible in 1995, after two years of paying dues and NEVER running a local union. I know, I know...this contradicts all that nonsense of H holding membership for some 20 years or so prior to 1991, but sometimes those nasty little facts just get in the way of the H faux legend.

Starting wage is a waste of time.

And with all that ranting, he came out of the woodwork to a 4% margin loss. Cuz of dads name? Maybe. But without that 800k Carey's boys embezzled, things could have been different.

Lol. What was I thinking!

It's an aggressive plan. (something H should have done)

He's going to bring back (from the dead) all the companies that left the pension funds

without paying their withdraw liability.

And then, the companies that are still paying their contractual contributions....

he will simply make them pay 3 times more, what they are required too.

All without negotiating. Problem solved.

Duh....

#1 stupid remark: "Out of the woodwork".
#2. Inaccurate assertion: $800,000
#3." Cuz of dad's name?" FINALLY something you posted was probably accurate.

Hoffa wasn't investigated because he lost.
We know, of course, that he didn't associate with mobsters.

Annoy a liberal today. Hit them with facts.
You have all the answers. What would Z do? The fact you can't answer this tells me you have zero clue on how the pension system even works.
You sound so stupid.

"H has totally failed in his job, but what would FZ do differently?"

I say give FZ a chance.

FZ hasn't failed at his job.

Wow.

How about if your company withdraws from the pension plan, without paying the withdrawal fee, your pension benefits are frozen at that moment, and may be reduced in the future.

You don't drag down an entire pension plan, to pay full benefits to those whose companies have withdrawn.

Those workers in companies that are still contributing, or have paid a withdrawal fee, get their full benefits.

But you can keep backing H and his DO NOTHING plan, let me know how that works for you and us.

#1 your the one complaining about him not winning a local election. Didn't know that was a requirement.
#2 how much do you think was embezzled (this is a fact easily researched because it did happen)

I'd consider it if he came up with a definitive plan. Lay it out. He just has finger pointing with no answers.

Can't get through to these 'numskulls' they would rather follow a failed administration and H's do nothing plan, 'Why'..........me thinks half of them on here are IBT,....they don't want to loose their monthly check or 'cushioned job', to many are pe'od at this administration, and the ones that aren't seem to be IBT,......js

Go talk to him,... I did,
I liked his views, his ideas, his vision for the teamsters, that's the way you find out for yourself, YOU have to talk to him, to get your own questions answered!

How about

There is no "how about".

The companies are gone. Their underfunded liabilities, will never be paid.

Are current Teamsters, willing to fork over money to subsidize the shortfall ??

Most, will just tuck their tails behind their legs.... and capitulate to the company.

TDU says different.

I see it everyday.

It wasn't 10point complaining about him not winning a local election, pant load. It was me responding to 5habits100 who said "And you(sic) leader couldn't win his own local. End of story sloppy." And it wasn't a complaint...it was an observation about how poorly prepared H was for the GP position. It was also a comment on the false H resume posted on BC and the 20 plus years of membership claimed in that resume.

I just gave 1 possible solution.

I believe it is the best solution.

If your company stops paying into the pension fund, and pays a withdrawal fee, fine.

If your company stops paying into the pension fund, and does not pay a withdrawal fee, your pension should be cut dramatically.

But hey, let's do the H plan, and do nothing.

That always works out................NOT

I've had many conversations with Z in the past. Trust me, he isn't what you need.
