You don't get to do the work over a Saturday air driver. So i can work 6 days a week If i want?
You'll only be used if staffing is short and all drivers above you seniority wise would have to offered the work first. All the sat. air drivers are cover drivers, I'm sure they would be more than happy to let me work for them, but i didn't know if i was allowed to work because UPS would have to to pay me time and half for working sat. Im full time now but used to be an air driver.
Yes but they don't run---they walk at a brisk pace.

My building has been using FT drivers that take a day off during the week. Still not guaranteed 8 hours.
Can't do that.My building has been using FT drivers that take a day off during the week. Still not guaranteed 8 hours.
Yeah I've never heard of 8 hour guarantee on Saturday.Saturdays are Hrs worked in my area....
That was my understanding but others are saying they are still guaranteed 40 hours for the week. Can't do that.
Just because they took a day off they still have to offer it in seniority order.
Not if they take a day off. That was my understanding but others are saying they are still guaranteed 40 hours for the week.
YepThe air sup usually calls drivers on the sly.
