Same with short ribs....they used to be cheap when my mom used them in making soup. Now they're like an expensive delicacy........flank steak too......my mom used to do the rolled, stuffed steak in sauce (bracciole) and it's higher now.

I used to buy flank steak for making jerkey, It was so lean it was perfect for that but not much else.

Nah....buy a nice flank steak...and marinate it overnight in the fridge...then throw it on the grill....good stuff!
