Wrap in foil and leave on the foil.
The steam will soften them, but you will lose some crust.

Despite my apprehension they came out spot on. The flavor was spot on. The tenderness was almost perfect. I smoked them for two hours then wrapped them and cooked them for another couple of hours. While wrapping them I put some butter on them. Then I sauced them and grilled them. Added a side of potatoes O'brien and my wife and son were making yummy noises.
