I think Ground contractors should take a lesson from what's been done to the Express employees. Everyone is is replaceable in this company. That carrot will forever remain a carrot.

The money will be somewhere. There’s money for the actual deliveries and there’s also the money that is in the value of the contracts. You really think contractors are going to risk millions in equity for failure to meet commit times?

Cool story. Contracts are selling very quickly around here. If Express is fully incorporated into Ground do you really think the contracts will decrease in value? We are looking at massive growth over the coming years just with Ground. Contractors will have plenty of incentives to deliver NDA on time when it comes to that.

As far as drivers go, good isps are just going to start poaching the ty ones better drivers and run them harder for more pay.

why spend money on training and dealing with high turnover when you can run less trucks with skilled drivers and save some headache by paying more and getting more in return?

PU statics can be done by ground the same way they have been with pretty much no issues. Call ins on the other hand not sure policy change maybe?
RLA wouldn't be a factor as once the system is set up for splitting express to ground adding in is simple and quick. if someone takes ex to court over RLA by the time the case is settled express would be a part time service and have no teeth for a union,

Anything flown that is transferred to ground negates the RLA. It doesn't take a court order to determine the status. If a Democrat wins the presidency, FedEx will lose that protection.
