I don’t buy the premise that she is promoting mental illness, necessarily. Sounds like she’s promoting the idea that you can be who you are in America and drink crappy beer if that’s what makes you happy.

It’s a free country. People can choose to boycott a company. It’s amusing to me that people “identify” with the beer that they drink but can’t accept some others “identify” as a different gender than others expect them to.

The primary mistake AB made when using Dylan to market their product was underestimate the level of bigotry, spitefulness and general stupidity of many of their core customers. That’s all I’ll say about that.

To this day I still haven’t seen her video. This reaction is purely about disgust and spite. I think that’s sad.

Off the cuff, I'd assume most of the time it is meant derogatorily, so I'd lean towards no?

I'd probably want to see it in context to decide if it was actionable.

When they force their way into women's sports, when the government starts requiring use of the right pronouns or risk being fired, when corporations decide that's the way the country is going so they want to push it on us with advertising, when kids are being indoctrinated in schools, then people have every right to stand up to it. What you're saying is we must accept what you want. Never works the opposite way with people like you. Only your side gets to decide how things are to be otherwise anyone who disagrees is a fascist.
