High Dosage Marijuana Causing Psychosis

Someone with chronic heart disease & diabetes that eats fast food shouldn't throw stones.
The major universities and research centers will not do exhaustive studies as long as cannabis is federally illegal. They can't get the funding.
Willie Nelson throws all your studies in the trash. Smoked it for years and is healthy as a horse.
Besides, why should it concern you what someone else wants to put into their bodies? Cigarettes and alcohol are legal and cause serious health conditions.
Do you think it's good for the country that millions of young adults are likely harming themselves? There's a difference between this and fast food. You need food to eat to sustain yourself. We know a lot more about the harm of fast food now than when I was in my 20's 40 years ago. No one needs full blown marijuana. The medical benefit can be separated from the psychotropic drug. Are you pointing to bad behavior to justify your bad behavior?

You are mixing two different things. You want to use drugs, go ahead. Should others like employers and insurers have protections too, yes. Marijuana, more and more is starting to look less than healthy. There are already laws that cover tobacco and alcohol. Marijuana not so much. Tobacco use numbers are currently less than twelve percent. Way down from only a generation ago.

Apparently there are now companies selling 4-Ac0-DMT in gummies and chocolate bars. Not just the evil marijuana, but synthetic shrooms that turn into Psilocin when consumed and will make you trip for about 4-6 hours just like magic mushrooms would.

Some of these companies post lab tests showing that their gummies don’t contain 4 ac0-dmt, but lab tests by consumers have proven that some of these gummies contain as much as 1.7mg of 4 ac0-dmt, meaning if someone were to eat 10-25mg worth they would experience a mushroom trip.

Here is an article about it. Could be considered technically illegal in gummy and chocolate bar form. Probably why the companies avoid posting that it is in their product and use other euphemisms for it, like certain kind of roots that contain trace amounts of it naturally.

Doctors warn of significant increase in people hospitalised with psychosis after being prescribed medicinal cannabis

I can barely do more than a hit of the new stuff. I was weaned on the cheap Mexican rope.

So we should ban it along with alcohol?
