Now that the House investigation has shown there were no issues with Benghazi, what will you attack her with next? It's all about the fear, isn't it? First, a Black President, and then...a woman. She isn't toxic at all, but the GOP message of intolerance and narrow-mindedness is pure poison. In two years, everything you gained during the mid-terms will be lost.
Look how they're reacting to the immigration deal...utter confusion and disarray. Their only true unity is in their backwardness and stupidity. Minorities will run away in droves...as they should. God, Republicans are clueless (but fun to watch).

Empathy is not sympathy. First get that right. Empathy is understanding why someone does what they do, it does not include agreeing with them. Next, yes, you do have to respect the people holding the gun. They may be evil and crazy but disrespecting a terrorist while negotiating gets you nowhere. It's a rule of negotiations.Respecting your enemies is a Biblical principal but even if you're anti Bible, it's still good policy as a humanitarian. I'm not a Hillary backer by any stretch of the imagination, but I saw this on Huckabee's Facebook page with the same argument. Personally I feel that recently he purposefully uses the fact that a lot of people don't understand the difference between empathy and sympathy and is using that to advance his position politically. It's evil in the highest degree and for him to be a former pastor this is reprehensible. But maybe he doesn't understand the difference either and that brings up a whole different set of problems.
