So the 17 no votes (3% of the vote count) are going to sway your opinion?
The select few who stood by as the old BA cut secret side deals that benefited the select few at the expense of the largest member group in 251?
The result of which caused the entire local leadership to be voted out?
The same group that argued that the Hospitals initial propose was a good deal? Which included pulling out of Teamster health & welfare, a number of actual concessions and much lower raises then the ratified contract?
The few who argued against taking a strike authorization vote to use as leverage?
The few who argued against rallies and informational pickets to get members and other unions active and together?
The same few who saw their vote go from 35 No's in the strike authorization vote to 17 No's in the contract vote (compared to 628 & 562 yes votes).
Credibility is not something this handfull of sourpusses has.
That contract got a lot of the members' goals accomplished, and that is the most important indicator.
So much so the campaign has spurred new organizing of non union workers. That's huge.
