So after I finish training with my on car sup for full time driving will I automatically be put on my own route or will I be treated as a tcd until I'm able to bid on a route that may come available?

Each area is diffrent here in my area you work as a utility driver covering routes as needed. Vacation coverage, split routes, or made up crap routes

Where I am it takes at least a few years to have enough seniority to win a bid route. Until then, you cover wherever you're needed. There are always bid drivers willing to take a dead day when the non-bid splits aren't in. So there's no lack of available work if you want it. Even during the TCD period from summer through mid January. Lowest seniority full timer trumps any TCD.

Intresting...Kinda wish I was tcd in that case... They both do pretty much the same but one gets paid more..

Being as you are Chosen, you will get you pick of routes right away,

You will get a route by signing a bid sheet and being the highest bidder. If you come form another full time classification yiu wait 6 months. We have had guys with less than two years seniority bidding routes in the last two years.

We keep em' on a training route until you make book. After that, (if you make it) you might be doing 5 routes in 5 days.
