U.S. Attorney Investigating Fox News Donated to Obama

The US Attorney for the District of Columbia, Ronald C. Machen – the man responsible for the aggressive
surveillance and phone record scrutiny at Fox News – is also a big donor to the Obama Campaigns.

At the time of his appointment, the Washington Post wrote a profile on Machen including this tidbit:
Over the years, he has donated $4,350 to Obama’s campaigns. He gave $250 to Obama’s U.S. Senate
campaign in 2003, a year before Obama, then an Illinois state senator, emerged on the nation’s political
radar, according to campaign finance records.

During the questioning Sen. Cornyn revealed that not only was Machen a donor to the Obama campaign, he
was also a volunteer for Obama for America.

YES they have. Unlike those at FOX NEWS or Right wing radio. Lets start with FOX NEWS... BILL ORIELLY is the only one with a higher education and a college degree. Sean Hannity dropped out of college after briefly attending in his freshman year. Rush Limbaugh barely made it out of high school and has NO higher education. Mark Steyn who fills in for RUSH and appears on FOX news has no formal higher education. These men ramble on everyday as if they are the most intelligent people in the country, yet NOT one of them is qualified to speak on serious issues of this country. What they do is read prepared remarks by the heritage foundation and put thier own "spin" on those talking points everyday. They do not do any of their own research and merely rely on the information supplied by the heritage foundation. To their fans, these men are the smartest men in town, but only the foolish will listen to fools. Peace TOS

So people need a higher education to succeed and be listened to? How about former President Andrew Jackson, the oil baron Rockefeller, and something more modern, two tech people Michael Dell and Bill Gates.

The report places Holder at the center of one of the most controversial clashes between the press and the government in recent memory. The warrant he approved named Rosen as a “co-conspirator” in a leak investigation, causing many to warn that the Justice Department was potentially criminalizing journalism.

The warrant also approved the tracking of Rosen’s movements in and out of the State Department, as well as his communications with his source, Stephen Kim.
The Justice Department later said that it did not intend to press any charges against Rosen.
The attorney general is usually required to approve requests to search journalists’ materials, but that rule does not extend to email records.

Over the past few years UPS has reduced the number of REGIONS from twelve down to TWO. Not just reducing the Highly compensated Region Manager --but all the Region Department heads along with the hundreds of positions of support personnel.

The reduction from 59 Districts --with highly paid District Managers and District staffs from FIFTY NINE to SEVENTEEN.

Technology upgrades, Improved Service Levels--Higher Production levels--Demanding the most from all employees Union and Management---Leading to very detailed BUSINESS PLANS AND BUDGETS -that enable investment -growth -marketing -volume and revenue increases --the Company in position to buyback its own stock --raising the value etc etc etc.

Obama and the politicians could learn a lot from many --not all --U.S. Corporations --that everyone likes to work for and enjoy the salary and benefits --but love to say how evil they are .

Obama had nothing to do with my UPS stock increasing in value ---The Company --including many hard working Union people --in spite of an inept Obama administration have been successful.

Make me laugh when Obama takes credit for the Stock market --maybe claim the artificially low interest rates -but most companies run as business -Rather than a bunch of Government Idiots.

Some things do well in spite of an undercover Marxist in chief. IMAGINE how easy it would be to bring This economy back from the brink of collapsing. "Social agenda driven media" ?? Would you say the same about the civil rights movement in the 50s and 60s?? The media in this country drive nothing. They are basically puppets of the mainstream corporate establishment. Their agenda is to increase profits like any other corporate entity. Yeah, I bitch and moan about this administration. And my world view is pretty much completely opposite of just about everything Obama says and does. But I would be just as critical of the last administration if its in the wrong, period. Wrong is wrong screw what letter comes after your name. And we're all Americans. Even the misguided ones.
